This is a Defender like no other! Our 110 Land Rover Defender XS has been completely re-imagined and engineered by the brains behind uprated parts specialists LOF, to showcase their expertise and high performance Land Rover parts.
The standard 4 cylinder diesel engine is out and in its place you will find none other than a Ford Performance 5.0-litre ‘Coyote’ Gen 2 V8 which produces 450bhp with 550NM of torque. The Galvanised Marsland chassis houses the V8 engine in the exact same position that the factory diesel engine sits.
Ashcroft Transmissions created a custom one-of-one manual 6-speed gearbox designed and installed to fit the V8 engine. The power is transferred through an LOF EXTREME-spec output shaft, coupled to an upgraded LT320 LR transfer box rebuilt by Winchester Gear, fitted with larger bearings, stronger shafts and an ATB centre differential.
Other works include re-built front and rear axles, new Winchester gears, automatic torque biasing differentials front and back, LOF 6-pot big brakes and HD driveshafts.
The custom made switchable stainless steel exhaust system has all the characteristics you’d expect from a 5.0-litre V8, but is a surprise to hear coming from a Defender!
Inside the car features full ‘Lucari’ interior with bucket seats throughout including individual rear seats with cubby box. Other upgrades include aluminium door hinges and handles plus uprated in car entertainment.
Exterior features include black chequer plating, 20” Khan Design alloys, LED headlights and Privacy Glass.
Whilst the speedometer shows 68,275 miles, the car has covered just 600 miles since the conversion.Enquire
