The M5 CS needs an entire category just for itself, sitting head and shoulder above any other so called ‘Supersaloons’. Some 150kg lighter than its counterpart German rivals, the M5 CS is the most powerful BMW M car ever produced with a staggering 626 bhp. 0-62 is achieved in 3 seconds dead and top speed is 189mph, yes it does have 4 doors and 4 seats! However the numbers only tell half the story because this car is about far more than headline figures. Despite only a 10hp increase over the M5 Competition, power is more available, revs come freer and throttle response is sharper. Updates to the chassis including lower ride height, adaptive dampers and new geometry leaves the car feeling almost incomparable to the M5 Competition it was bred from.
