Audi A1 quattro

Details

In a 4 year span between 1981 and 1985, the Audi quattro enjoyed victories at 23 WRC events winning the overall championship in 1982 and 1984. The Quattro became and has remained, one of the most iconic cars to have left Audis Ingolstadt factory.

So when, in 2012, Audi announced the launch of the A1 quattro, the beefy big brother of the S1, nostalgic petrolheads took notice.

The result was Audi’s vision of the ultimate hot hatch built to a limited run of just 333 worldwide.

The 251bhp 2-litre turbo charged engine was taken from the Audi S3 and mated with a reworked version of its iconic quattro four-wheel drive system.

Homage was paid to its namesake in the design of the new and exclusive 18” white turbine style alloys and rear roof spoiler. Along with wider tailpipes and a race-inspired bodykit, the A1 quattro has the look of a road going rally car.

The example on offer is one of just 19 UK supplied cars and has covered a total of 27,500 miles.
