It is often said that Alpina demonstrates a better understanding of BMW M’s mission brief than BMW’s own engineers, and with the B7 that is certainly the case as they have managed to combine exquisite luxury whilst creating a phenomenal driving machine that could be considered the ultimate tourer.

Opting for a V8 engine as opposed to the V12 variant found in the 750Li, Alpina saved 71kgs over the front wheels and with their uprated pistons, exhaust and bespoke twin-turbos, the 4.4 litre V8 produces 600hp!

This long-wheelbase G12 era 7 series is not to be underestimated from a handling point of view as the engineers from the German tuning house have fettled the chassis transforming it to the perfect luxury sport sedan, responding confidently to twists and turns whilst retaining a level of comfort rarely found.

Our car is finished in Alpina Green Metallic with Canberra Beige Exclusive Nappa leather featuring diamond-quilted seat inserts and Piano-Lacquer and brushed-aluminium trim. Having covered just 1,295 miles from new, the car is presented in immaculate condition.
