Built to celebrate Ferrari’s 40th anniversary, the F40 was the last car personally approved by Enzo himself. Designed by studio Pininfarina, the F40 has stood the test of time and looks just as striking today as it did when it was first unveiled to customers.
In response to comments that Ferrari’s were becoming too plush and comfortable, the goal was to make the F40 “very fast, sporting in the extreme and Spartan”.
This car was supplied new by MOTOR s.p.a of Modena on 8th August 1992 to a private collector in Bologna. After 5 years in Italy, it made its way to the UK where it has resided since.
No expense has been spared with the thorough service history with its most recent service taking place in January 2017.
The car has the all important Classiche certification confirming this F40 is true and correct as it should be. All original books and leather folder are present along with the original toolkit.
The interior was re-trimmed in the exact correct material just a few years ago and still looks brand new today, as does the rest of the interior with no wear to any of the dash fabric.
This adjustable suspension example makes driving an F40 a realistic option on all roads. The function works perfectly without any delay and with it on the car, there’s no need to plan your routes to avoid speed bumps, steep driveways and garages. You would wonder how you would live without adjustable suspension once you have lived with a car that has the feature.
A full service including belts and most importantly, new fuel cells is booked in for March.
Mechanical inspections can be arranged prior to sale.Enquire
